Community Involvement
Since its founding over 30 years ago, the Ottawa Artisans Guild has believed in supporting our local community.
Admittance to our markets is free but we request donations of non-perishable foodstuffs or cash which we then deliver to the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard. In the past five years we have collected more than 1000 boxes of food and $10000
As well, our members donate items which they have made and which are then auctioned off at two of our meetings. The proceeds from each auction is donated to a local charity selected by the members prior to the meeting.
